Below are the steps to become a professional Instructor on Hammerly but more details can be found here. Become an Instructor

- First things first, do you actually have a design idea that is unique? This isn’t the place to copy the most popular YouTube trends, that will be a waste of your time. Maybe this was a business idea that the margins just weren’t good enough to make a truly successful product for distribution. Maybe you have built an item that you get compliments on all the time but never wanted to try to make money selling on physical marketplace sites. Maybe you are a designer, woodworker, etsy shop owner, etc. that have perfected an item and just wanted to show others how to make it too.
- Ok you’ve got the idea and now you want to see what is required to post. You’ll want to fill out the form at the bottom of this link and they will assign someone to get you started.
- Your request submission can take up to 24 hours for a reply. During this time begin prepping your plan with detailed instructions. Beyond the actual build tutorial the basics of every plan requires tools & materials needed, where they can find these items, cost estimates of the entire project, time estimates, how to break up the build and plan time efficiently, as well as each step broken down into easy to manage portions.
- By now they likely have assigned their account lead to help you in the process but there are more items you can do. I look at this like a book deal where they are the publishers. Sure they will market your project but i’d like to leverage my own brand too. To do this I start thinking through how I’m going to be bringing in users from my own channels and that has been extremely rewarding. For instance, check out this cool build here…shameless plug. Really though, think through your plan on leveraging TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, Pinterest, or any other means you think you’d enjoy and get your plan out there.
- Lastly, engaging with your community on a set schedule after some purchases come in can only help your ratings. Ratings are the lifeblood of your build.
A learner by nature who doesn't claim to be perfect but wants to share the nuggets he's learned along the way.
